Custom Tests

If you have a custom test you have developed for HSPT practice, you can upload it onto the Socrato platform for students to practice.

High schools, especially Catholic high schools, look at High School Placement Test (HSPT) scores to determine the suitability for admissions to the ninth grade. Most of the school also considers HSPT scores for their scholarship awards.

The HSPT consist of 5 sections: Verbal, Quantitative, Reading, Mathematics, and Language. All questions are multiple-choice.

Scoring is based on the number of questions answered correctly. There is no penalty for the incorrect answer. Raw scores are converted to scaled scores that range from 200 - 800.
